![]() I may even start this over from scratch since it is playing so much better now! ![]() In any case, I'm not complaining now.įinally, the game is playable! Time to play through this game and then move on to Old Blood. It's like vsync on gets broken somehow by the above fixes. If I turn v-sync on in the game, performance suffers (naturally) but it also introduces even worse tearing! Weird. ![]() The only issue I have left is nasty screen tearing with v-sync off, but that is not a problem exclusive to this game. At medium or low the RX 480 is barely idling. I'm not experiencing any dips below 60 FPS that I can see. I can now run at high or even ultra, even with 8192 shadow resolution at perfect frame rates. Lastly, make sure you disable in-game V-Sync Rename the tungsten_outro_hg.bik to tungsten_outro_hg.bikX Rename the menu_credits.bik to menu_credits.bikX Rename the loadvideo_pc_xboxone.bik to loadvideo_pc_xboxone.bikX Use Bat to Exe converter to convert WolfNewOrder_圆4.bat to WolfNewOrder_圆4.exe in same dir (default options for B2E prog)Ĭreate dir MachineGames\Wolfenstein The New OrderĬreate dir MachineGames\Wolfenstein The Old Blood (in case you have it now or get it later)īrowse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\\base\bink\ (or whatever drive/dir contains your TNO) Rename WolfNewOrder_圆4.exe to WolfNewOrder_x32.exeĬreate WolfNewOrder_圆4.bat in same dir and with contents "start WolfNewOrder_x32.exe"ĭownload / install Bat To Exe Converter (e.g. As a bonus, performance is significantly better now too!įor everyone else, here are my notes from implementing the above, to make it easy:īrowse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\\ (or whatever drive/dir contains your TNO) You've found a fix for the crashing on my RX 480. I would leave the cap at 60fps (even on a 144hz monitor set as native 120hz) however, but thats personal preference, there is a thread on how to get rid of this cap too in these forums should you need to do this too. Note: I havent had any crashes in this game so Im not sure if this is an unrelated issue to do with the rx 480 but in any case doing the above will help get decent performance. There are plenty of them around and here is a link to the instructions on how to do it from a reddit post. To do the last bit you need to download a bat to exe convertor. The game seems to run infinitely better once this is done. Ok to make this game run well, you need to make a Texture cache folder and rename the exe to x32 rather than 圆4. Now we just have to fight our way out of here and escape this joint together.Solution to the problem, copied from another thread: I have to get them out of there.ĭidn't expect to find (Fergus/Wyatt) in here. Resistance members still fighting the Nazis. There are people locked inside I need to see. Anya tells me she knows a way inside Eisenwald Prison. Once free of Nazi followers, the group is joined by Anya, and the three of them make their way to the Kreisau Circle. BJ and his ally make their way out of the prison in force, stealing a car in the process. Once inside, he raises hell, releasing the prisoners, including Wyatt or Fergus, depending on whom he saved in Chapter 1. BJ sneaks into the compound through a maintenance hatch, and climbs his way into the barracks through the men's restroom. Once he arrives at Eisenwald Prison, BJ sneaks onto the roof, and makes his way towards Zellenblock B-2, once he hears two guards discussing that's where the resistance fighters are being kept. While sneaking through Nazi offices to hide on the prison bus, he finds a Laser Cutter, which he keeps and uses. BJ needs to sneak onto a prison transport to make his way to Eisenwald Prison to free other resistance fighters.
